[ hey hello!! she's in the Xpress Stuff 2 Go, with a bottle of coffee NOT BOOZE BECAUSE I CAN'T READ in hand, swigging from it absently as she looks through the keychains.
she's got one that says Viktor on it, squinting. ]
Hilariously RNG set this as post-fight... Childe is tragically not dead, and in fact looks. Well. "Fine" isn't the right word, because he's got bruises, a notable bonk on his head, and he's using his scarf as a sling for his arm, but at least he doesn't seem to be in a bad mood. If anything, he's in a good one like a freak.
He waves with his good hand from where he is standing outside the Duty-Free cabinets, tragically locked.]
I hope you got your fill yesterday. [THE BOOZE... TAKEN AWAY...]
[Well I guess they just both wake up in their lounge or whatever. They don't even need to check the screens because it's obvious Essek isn't in here, and Childe sighs.]
imagine i left her as twelve the entire game. no she's fine. she's an adult again! she had a bunch of bullet wounds in her back, slash wounds across her arms and back, and a nasty bite wound on her forearm, but those are healed to the point that she won't die. they're still pretty gross, though.
she's in the lounge now with the poro, petting it as it rumbles like an engine. ]
[LMFSKJDHGK IMAGINE Vi just like hey Kate we're twins now
It's a relief to see her as her normal self(?) again, though--the wounds definitely look nasty, but that doesn't bother Childe, and he figures she's probably dealt with things like this before, so. Their softhearted companions can do the fussing.
Still, they are friends and teammates, so he is definitely here to check on her.]
she is beating the shit out of the other contestants, going all out. you can probably catch her at the end of it when she comes out after one of her matches - there's some ferociously angry and upset vibes coming from in there that seem to be like, something she was channeling out.
but the match is over, and so she comes out and collapses down on a bench, head in her hands. grinds at her eye sockets with her palms. the vibes go from intense to something exhausted, instead. she spits blood to the side, and sighs. ]
[He will definitely find her there because he loves The Cage, unsurprisingly!!! Though it's hard to miss the energy here, so instead of leaping right in for his turn after she's done, he wanders over, holding out a bottle of water for her.]

Didn't really get to spend as much time here as I wanted. But yeah. Honestly, I might miss it a bit. Closest thing I've had to home in years.
