It's so good to have you back with us.

[ after she's finished eating crayons, i guess ]

It's really good to be back. Kind of weird, actually. [ she says, with a little smile. ] Oh - right, I've got presents.

[ hands her strohl jr, first. he snuggles her, if she takes him. and then she'll go through her bag to find a little tupperware type thing full of blini and syrup tins. plus a letter. ]

[ oh... she takes him into her arms and gives him a hug. ]

What did you bring?

[ strohl jr is SO happy to be hugged. ]

This one's from Childe.

[ she puts the blini and letter down in front of her. and then also, "a slightly shitty little bead bracelet. it's red, black, and pink and it has a bomb, a shield and a ribbon as charms." ]

The bracelet's from Wis'adel. We spent a lot of time on the other side flipping out about you being in danger.

[ I kind of missed when he would make things for me... ]

... You did? I think I did a good job of staying out of trouble... er, other than yesterday.

Worry isn't exactly rational. But yeah. Except for yesterday, you did good.

[ should've seen the way everybody was upset when they saw you up there. ]

... I do. I couldn't possibly forget that, with so many reminders.

Good. Glad you know it. [ a beat. ] Sorry for leaving you behind after I promised not to.

I'm just glad you made it back.

... Oh. This is good timing. There is a gadget store now...

Oh - shit, yeah, you're right. Time to follow through on a broken promise.

[ offers a hand? ]

Let's go check it out? We can chatter while we find some stuff to tinker on. We've had letters, but there's only so much you can say when you talk every two days.

[ she sets down strohl jr and takes vi's hand. ]

It's nice to be able to text, but I wasn't very good at it at first. I think I've gotten used to it now...

Same. I went back and forth between talking into my phone and trying to type. Sometimes it's weirder to just talk out loud to nothing.

Oh... I suppose it is. I really wanted to get used to using the screen, so I had to practice a lot.

Did you not have anything like this before?

I never got to spend this much time with machines like this before.
