Ah, well... it wasn't exactly my choice...

Aw, did someone hit you with a curse?

[ she crouches, gesturing to coax kate to look at her face to face. sets her elbow on her knee, chin in hand, looking her over thoughtfully. ]

... Nope, not ridiculous at all, actually. I'm jealous, even.

[ she lets vi look at her... for a few moments, then breaks eye contact and turns her head to the side. ]

Why would you be jealous?

[doublefists]

Because it looks good?

[ she's a little amused. ]

The contrast really works. And I like bright colors, obviously. [ a beat. ] I can't go red, it won't show up.

[sootprints]

... Neither can I, normally. I suppose I'll take it for now...

[ she'll try holding up some hairclips to herself in the mirror, to see what they look like. it feels weird. ]

Do you not like it?

[ curiously. she reaches out to the wall and grabs a little white hairclip. a white rose, mostly plastic. offers it? try? ]

I think it looks a little strange, against the shadows... Maybe something a little subtler, like some coloured streaks, would be nice to try...

[ there's a thoughtful look at some coloured hair extensions on another rack.

but she will try the hairclip on. it makes it look a little nicer! ]

There's got to be something that can dye your hair something less contrast-y. When this fades we can look for something.

[ a smile at the hairclip, though. ]

That's cute, actually. You can pull it off, look at you.
