Got back, immediately got cursed to want to divorce Yoru. All of Meowsandry were our kids. Also, our entire team wanted to find the most carry-able wife in the airport. And then I got cursed to be bald, and then I went on a trip where I got to watch several of my friends die in front of me, so. You know, busy fucking week.

[ dryly. ]

... But at least I didn't die again. There's that.

I saw some of that, but when you put it in a summary like that.....

[ there's like a faint emotional wince of sympathy. there's also some faint warmth in return. ]

They put you through the wringer as a welcome back. Do you want to talk about any of it?

I don't mind it that bad. [ there's a faint like... wish that it hadn't been the divorce thing because it reminded her of her ex a little too much, but she shrugs. ] Kind of saw the curses as a welcome back. Made me feel included.

Now, we're all back together for this week. No more having to miss anyone. Who knows what wild thing will happen to all of us next?

Wriothesley and Aventurine had a compelling history as ponies. If you didn't see the brochures, there's a reason they're on all of them

As... ponies? [ help ] I did see the brochures - I'm sad I didn't get to be there to help make them, but you guys did a good job of being insane as usual.

I don't know to what extent yet. The only tickets that worked so far was to this terminal. [ otherwise, scaramouche and some others would probably not be here anymore. ] The horse might have to be addressed first.

Did you guys end up seeing the thing we got for our trip? The bit about the sanctuary in Australia for horses.

A lot of it seemed ridiculous from its names to much of its text, but if it wants to go to Australia... we can find a way for it to go to Australia.

I don't think any of us want to stay in the airport. At least, I haven't heard of anyone wanting any other outcome.

It's only a matter of finding the best way to do it. Or even knowing how it wants to compete.

I don't see a reason not to answer any messages I receive, if we can still connect that way after.

You've got that big glass wall between you and everybody else. Or at least, you try to keep it there.

But you don't want visitors?

[ she won't shy away from that. she has been putting up walls. she has been keeping herself withdrawn. she isn't untouchable, and she knows it, but it doesn't mean she can't try. ]

It's difficult to have visitors when things aren't settled yet.

Sure, but I know you can do what you said you were going to do.

[ confidence, there. she believes in roxana's ability to take things back for herself. she believes that when roxana goes back, she'll ruin her father's life and he won't be able to do anything about it. that comes through in her emotions - a very firm, centered belief in roxana. ]

So after that. When things are settled, what about then?

[ there's small ripple of appreciation for her faith. it's very sweet of vi to believe that much in her. ]

I don't know how long it'll take, but I don't think it'll be a good idea.
