See, that's the thing. Outside of this little puzzle, there's not much of interest back here. Unless it's being magically shielded from our eyes. Which is very possible.

But this does imply there was a party who set the puzzle, and then a person made to solve it. Maybe...well with them refusing to play along, this could have been a sort of labyrinthian prison to hold them? I certainly wouldn't play any of its dumb games. Especially if they were trying too hard to be "spooky."
[ almost like, instinctive, rosamund edges close and squeezes her hand, and vi shifts like she's putting herself between rosamund and the rest of the area. a brick wall, a tank. there's no thought to it, she just moves like it's natural to protect. ]
Ugh, that brings up a whole other can of worms - if it is a maze, where'd they go. [ ... ] Maybe stay out of the trash place, so you don't accidentally get cubed.
[This much, Rosamund does clock. Affection week may be clouding her mind but this is a different category of body language. It should come at no surprise since Vi is 80% bicep and was so ready to punch the duty free glass, but still. Girl's a fighter.]

Evil doesn't have to be clever, just persistent. Even so, I do think with our powers combined we won't have to fear too much just yet. There's no tracks I can see other than our own and a few of the other contestants, and there's nothing on the walls or roof to suggest anything's been crawling around on them.
So, unless whatever's lurking in here is a ghost, or some kind of cursed booby trap? I'd bet we're quite safe. For the moment, anyhow.

[ about the cubes. she listens, glancing at rosamund. there's something like... complicated on her face as she does? vi's a decently easy person to read because all of her emotion is on her face at all times, but. in this case it's a mix of something impressed and something else less identifiable.

Mostly? It's a little harder indoors of course. And it's hardly foolproof. There's ways to cover your tracks of course, and when you start getting magic or weird technology involved, things get a little hairy.
But yes! I told you before, I was pretty outdoorsy. And I had to live in the woods a while, so if I didn't learn how to track, I didn't find much to eat.
