Everybody else just died of random accidents, but this crazy woman decided she needed to kill two people for the greater fucking good, so everybody else could go free. So she cut a guy up into pieces and she chased a girl across a stage, and when that stage fell on the girl, she stabbed her in the neck with a pair of scissors.
And the stupid part, right, is that it didn't even work. She sacrificed two people for something that didn't even work. Everybody else died anyway.
